Please note that there is no posting services on Sundays and bank holidays in the UK. Post is only sent out until 11am (UK time) on a Saturday being delivered Monday/Tuesday.
This may cause a delay in you receiving your swabs. The same rules above will apply when posting your swabs back to the laboratory.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE ORDERED YOUR SWAB KIT IN SUFFICIENT TIME AS PER THE GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THEM IN TIME FOR YOUR TESTING DAY
Please also be reminded, as per our terms and conditions, that the return of the swab/s to the laboratory for testing, is the customers responsibility. A pre-paid envelope (for sending your swab to the laboratory) is included within the price you have paid for the swab. We do not recommend the service of Royal Mail, this is done at the customers own risk and we politely remind customers that if your swab is delivered late or lost, this is not our responsibility.
Acethetix (Testing Services) cannot reimburse customers. Our contract with all customers is to supply the tests only.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ACE-THETIX TESTING SERVICES ARE CURRENTLY USING TWO LABORATORIES TO ENSURE WE CAN MEET DEMAND.
NATIONWIDE PATHOLOGY KIT
If you recieve a Nationwide pathology kit (these will be in grey envelopes with grey bags included with pre-paid return Royal Mail labels to Nationwide Pathology). You do not need to do anything with this kit other than to follow the instructions inlcuded within your kit on how to take your swab. Then insert your swab into the pre-paid envelopes and post in a Royal Mail PRIORITY post box. Again, please note that Royal Mail so do not collect and deliever post at weekends and bank holidays whoch will cause delays in the lab recieving your swab. All results will be emailed to you.
Within the sealed boxes you will find instructions on (1) how to take your test/use the swabs and (2) return your sample to the testing laboratory.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR TEST ARRIVES
IMPORTANT – Please ensure that you read instructions fully inside your box.
You will need to register your swabs online. Please ensure that you complete your registration as per the enclosed instructions to avoid samples being processed correctly and results sent to you.

YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE A NOTE OF YOUR SWAB NUMBER BEFORE YOU RETURN YOUR SWAB TO THE LABORATORY!
Please note that if using a courier service, Customers should ensure that they choose a courier who can deliver biological samples to our laboratory next day tracked. Samples must arrive within 70 hours of swabbing to undergo testing.
Samples which arrive after 70 hours will be void and will produce an unclear result

RETURNING YOUR SAMPLE TO US FOR TESTING
Your order will include 2 pre-paid options on returning sample to the laboratory which are: –
Option 1 – Randox drop off (pre-paid included)
Optopn 2 – DX drop off sites (pre-paid included)
Option 3 – Royal Mail Tracked 24 – This is done at customers own risk and is NOT included in the price you have paid
Option 4 – Book a private Courier that will deliver to option 1 or option 2 above. You will need to find the nearest drop-off points by using the links below and provide the courier with the correct address – This is NOT included in the price and is an additional cost and must be done by the customer
Option 5 – Book a private Courier that will deliver to the laboratory in Ireland. As with option 4, You will need to BOOK and PAY for this option and provide the courier with the correct address (please see below for address on option 5). This is NOT included in the price and is an additional cost and must be done by the customer
FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF ANY DOUBT, ONLY OPTIONS 1 & 2 ABOVE ARE PRE-PAID AND ANY OTHER OPTIONS ARE PAID FOR BY THE CUSTOMER AND DONE AT THEIR OWN RISK.
OPTIONS 1 & 2 CAN ONLY BE SENT TO THE RELEVANT DROP-OFF POINTS AND CANNOT BE SENT THROUGH ROYAL MIAL UNLESS A CUSTOMER PEROSNALLY PAYS FOR THIS OPTIONS, PRINTS OFF THE LABELS FROM ROYAL MAIL AND ATTACHES IT TO THE PARCEL.
